<p>Crus bourgeois.<br />70% <strong>cabernet-sauvignon</strong>, 20% <strong>merlot</strong>, 10% <strong>petit-verdot</strong>.<br />Rustic, black, dusty fruit palate; nose of smoke. + I love the name (equals &#8220;sadness/anguish repeller&#8221; in french)!</p>

<p>Second cru class&#233;.<br />60% <strong>Cabernet Sauvignon</strong> , 38% <strong>Merlot</strong>, 2% <strong>Cabernet Franc</strong>.<br />Dark, rich and deeply concentrated. Coffee, herb, spice palate. The best of Saint-Est&#232;phe, and one of the very first in Bordeaux (&gt;92-94/100 Parker).</p>

<p>Cru bourgeois.<br /><strong>Merlot</strong> 82%, <strong>Cabernet Sauvignon</strong> 13%, <strong>Cabernet Franc</strong> 4%, Pressac (<strong>Malbec</strong>) 1%.</p>


	<p>Discovered in a degustation after a &#8220;scientific oenology&#8221; talk by <a href="http://www.denisdubourdieu.com/"><strong>Denis Dubourdieu</strong></a> (now Oenologie faculty, &#8220;laboratoire d&#8217;oenologie g&#233;n&#233;rale&#8221; and &#8220;Institut des sciences de la vigne et du vin&#8221; head, Bordeaux) at the university of Geneva (one of the most &#8220;popular&#8221; talk I&#8217;ve ever seen! as the degustation was part of the talk&#8230;): strong smoky nose, chocolaty, fruity palate!...</p>
